Christopher Snider is Chairman and CEO of the Exit Planning Institute. He became a Certified Exit Planning Advisor in 2008, then acquired EPI with his son Scott Snider in 2012 and rebuilt it into the leading body for the exit planning discipline. Snider developed the Value Acceleration Methodology, the process framework now used by thousands of CEPA practitioners to prepare business owners for transition. His book Walking to Destiny, published in 2016, codified the framework for business owners and has become a standard reference in the field. Earlier in his career he helped grow a middle market family-owned business from $90 million to $265 million in three years, culminating in a sale to a large multinational strategic buyer. That formative engagement is the source of much of the methodology EPI now teaches.
