Russell Cohen

Russell Cohen is the president of South Florida M&A Advisors, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale firm with more than twenty-five years of deal-making experience in Florida. He has personally sold more than seven hundred businesses, more than any other advisor in the state. In 2024 the International Business Brokers Association named him CBI of the Year out of a membership of more than fifteen hundred business brokers nationally. South Florida M&A Advisors earned M&A Source's Top M&A Company designation for firms with two to four agents in 2023. That same year, Cohen's team facilitated one of the largest platform deals in Florida, a hundred-million-dollar transaction between a private equity group and a Florida roofing contractor. Cohen holds the M&AMI certification and sits on the Board of Governors for M&A Source.
