Scott A. Yoder

Scott A. Yoder is a Managing Director at MidCap Advisors, the New York-based lower middle market M&A firm. He has spent almost thirty years partnering with closely held companies on value growth and exit strategies and has executed more than twenty successful transactions with domestic and international buyers in both private and public markets. Yoder came to M&A advisory through sixteen years as an operator and CFO, and watched his own father go through an exit, experiences that inform how he approaches the work. Earlier in his career he served as Managing Director of Freedom Exit Advisors, working with business owners and advisors on strategic succession and exit plans. He has held the Certified Value Growth Advisor, Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor, and Certified Exit Planning Advisor designations, and he was licensed as a CPA in Iowa. He holds a BA in accounting from Goshen College.
